Adding variations to an existing listing

Hi,

I'm selling back issues of fanzines for our local football club (Item number: 365433106600)

How do I change this so there is a drop down box with the different issue numbers on for buyers to select?

I then want one postage cost for up to 2 issues, and another postage cost for between 3 & 5 issues.

The help pages refer me to the advanced listing tool, but I can't even find that?

Is there anyone I can call who could talk me through it please, I'm going around in circles!

Thank you,

Toni x

I don't believe that you can use a variation listing for those - can you see one that another seller has up and running?

At the moment you're breaching eBay policy by offering a choice listing (whereby buyers contact you and let you know which item they want to buy). You need to end that and set up listings for each item.

The facility you want to use is only available to business sellers.

Private sellers can list multiple items, but not with variations.

For postage, you need to make sure that combined discounts are allowed by opting in to allow combined payments and setting your discounts and the time period during which they can be used:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/posting-items/postage-rates/postage-discounts?id=4168

You'll need to use a desktop browser.

You first need to go here to your Postage preferences to allow buyers to send one combined payment for all items purchased and set the time period:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/ship/prf

Then click on edit next to Flat postage rule.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply.  I will try that tomorrow in work then, when I've got access to the desktop.

I really appreciate your time - thank you.

It's not an easy task, so take your time.

Could you find a variation listing with the same kind of item as you want to list? I set up a test listing for a football programme same as you have listed and tried to set it to allow variations, but no joy. Whilst some main categories allow a variation listing, the sub category(ies) it requires may not.
