Hi. I’m a new seller. After a week ‘live’, with some interested buyers (‘watchers’), my ‘selling’ platform urges me to send offers to them. However, it doesn’t matter what amount I put in…it says ‘invalid amount’ underneath in red (please see example in the attached photo). There seems to be no way to contact anyone to help with this as all the categories listed which enable you to ‘speak’ to an agent, do not include this particular problem. Can anyone shed light on this? Thank you! 🙏

Making less than £2 reduction is probably not enough,
It wouldn't encourage me to accept.
Has to be at least 5% below BIN price.

Hi Tobias. That IS at least 5% below. And it was an example price. Whatever price I put in (as explained in my post)…I get the same response.
Re: ‘it wouldn’t tempt me’. I regularly receive offers for a pound or two off items. Often I buy…sometimes it serves as a reminder that I was ‘watching’ it at all.

To clarify…here’s another amount, same result…

I suspect it may be to do with BPF.
Try at least 5% of your listing price, I.e. before BPF.

I just posted one with £20 offer and same result ie invalid

Hi again. I’m tearing my hair out (figuratively, luckily). Here is a different item. With my (example) attempt at sending an offer to a watcher. This is NOT about the amount, and whether it’s attractive enough to the buyer. It’s just a theoretical amount to illustrate that whatever I offer comes up as ‘invalid’. It’s not about BPF, or ‘5% off is minimum allowed offer’, or whatever. It happens every time. Can anyone please suggest what I do next? It does not come under the list of topics which would enable me to speak to an eBay agent. Thank you 🙏
