There are special rules for digital sales and usually no buyer protection.

In order to help you we need to know exactly what happened. Including,

Did the listing have a postage option?

Did you receive anything in the post at all?

If it is the seller you left a negative for, their items are 'collect only', although they are digitally delivered items.

If you have NOT given the seller the collection code provided by Ebay, after a week, you can open an

item not received' case.

I give the collection code I've bought many of time for adopt me pets the
time between sending me a connection and the seller saying they had already
delivered was 1 minute impossible but I can actually prove it through adopt
me as all trades are recorded, it never happened there is no trade from
this seller you exchange usernames join the same game meet up and trade the
items I can prove this didn't happen I have proof this has happened once
before but I paid with PayPal so they went through everything and sorted
it, I can prove no trade took place he's ripped me off.

You don't send it via post because it's a digital item you exchange
usernames add each other join the game together and trade the items, adopt
me record every trade sk I have proof this didn't happen actual proof,
aswell from them sending the connection to saying they had already
delivered was 1 minute which is impossible but more to the point I can
prove they didn't trade anything over, this has happened once before but I
paid with PayPal and they sorted it with the evidence I provided, he's
stole me money ripped me off.

If you have given up the collection code that's end of story.

That would have been the only way you might have got your money back for a digital sale. You can no longer claim not to have received it, because production of the collection code by the seller will be taken as proof that you have. And you can't claim it was not as described because  digital delivery is not accepted and will be excluded from eBay's money back guarantee.

The negative feedback you left for the seller may be removed because it mentions ebBay in connection with a dispute. his is not allowed.

OK, so PayPal helped you before but this sort of 'trade' is risky on ebay.

Sellers who list in this way (collection for an intangible item), are already playing the system by lying, why shouldn't they go on to scam you?

Ebay won't help you as you have given the seller the collection code so you can't claim item not received.

You can't claim item not as described as there is no item to return.

I get its a very easy way to scam people but not everyone's a shady *bleep* if
you saw my history you'd see ive bought alot on ebay alot and this is the
only time ive ever been scammed so there's alot more trusted people than
not, and if I have actual proof the trade didnt happen why would I not get
my money back when they've blatantly ripped me off it was just my word then
fair play but I can actually prove they didnt give the item.

Ebay would not look at your 'proof'.

For collection only items, the fact that the seller has the collection code - given by you - confirms you have the item.

You are obviously happy buying in this way. Just be careful who you buy from.

And yet according to your thread title you have been 'scammed'.  In other words, permanently deprived of your money so your proof didn't work.

eBay and PayPal are different companies, with different rules. PayPal may be more flexible over intangible purchases.

eBay does not allow the sale of difgitally delivered items, and these are not covered by their money back guarantee. It's possible you were lucky last time, but don't count on happening again.

eBay is a risky place to buy things and the money back guarantee doesn't cover everything. (We've just heard from a buyer who had his case closed by eBay because his phone was "delivered" - but to the wrong address!) So be careful to read and understand the conditions, and don't let it become a substitute for using your own common sense. eBay is a jungle.

You've been refunded by Paypal you wont hear anything back from eBay as they have closed the case
