mentioning if a vintage book has a smell when selling i.e. from cigarettes

I've just received a complaint from a buyer because a booklet from the 1950's smells of smoke, from an era when everyone smoked !  Everyone nowadays seems to have an allergy, is there any guidance in listings for allergies.

It is up to seller to cover in the description if there is any smell or other faults.

Hi,I ended up speaking to an eBay customer assistant and he said although
some sellers say if an item comes from a pet free or smoke free home it
isn't required for something vintage that can't be easily cleaned like an
old book.
