Help with tracking number?

Hi 

can someone please help me.. I’ve sold an item which I have despatched & the tracking number didn’t load, I’ve tried to add manually but it won’t save. I’ve tried this multiple times & ways! 
has anyone had the same thing & how did you rectify?

Did you buy your own postage label outside of ebay?   if so you still need to generate the original prepaid label to add the tracking.    Go to the More Actions dropdown menu or via View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow and add the new tracking number.   That needs to be done on a desktop browser.

After that you should be able to cancel the original label here:

Or if the buyer paid for it it will be refunded to them automatically in 30 days.

You could contact ebay and see if they can add the tracking for you.   Use callback on here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Otherwise ebay will treat it as an untracked item and the payment will be released in 14 days.
