Bladed items rules

I would like to sell a bandsaw, but cannot due to the new rules.  It would be impossibly expensive to 'post' with "age-verification" as it stands 6 foot tall.  Why can't I remove the blade and sell the machine locally without the ability to cut?

Ebay now has very strict rules regarding the sale of bladed items and, as you have found out, don't allow collection in person.

For this particular item, the best advice would be to sell elsewhere rather than trying to circumvent the policy on this site.
