Hi
Hoping someone can help.
100% sure I originally set a reserve on an item.
The item did not sell and got automatically relisted.
The item has just sold for below the reserve.
When an item automatically 're-lists' then does the reserve not get carried through to the new auto generated listing?
Any assistance appreciated. Thanks

When relisted yes, unless you remove the reserve it does get carried over on an automatically relisted item.
However, are you sure you set a Reserve, and not just added a Buy it Now Price ? That is not a reserve and it does disappear whenn the first bid is placed, the sale runs on only in auction style, in fairness to the other bidders.
Reserves are the most expensive optional listing upgrades, costing a non refundable listing fee of 4% of your set reserve, payable sale or no sale, and charged the second the item goes live.
Always better to start auctions for the lowest amount you are happy to receive, it cannot sell for less.

You can easily tell if you set a reserve, each time listed you would have been charged a 4% reserve fee, so after 3 listings you would have already paid a lot of money to lot sell.
Looking at completed listings there is no evidence of a reserve, as in bid history it would say RESERVE NOT MET.

Thank you - I must be going mad then as I was adamant I had put in a 'Reserve' and not a 'Buy it now' price....but maybe I didn't.
Is there anywher in my account to see what I originally had set up?
Thanks

Thank you....looks like 'user' error...or stupidity....as was pretty sure I set a reserve as I knew what the minimum was I wanted..
Anyway, thanks for replying
