sold an item and sent it - a day later Ebay have emailed me saying for my protection to not send it

So I bought postage through ebay and sent it and it is fully tracked etc

Now a day later Ebay written to be saying for my protection and safety they have discovered an issue with the buyer and that I should not send the item

What can I do now as the parcel is already out for delivery and carrier cant stop it.

Surely its ebays duty of care and they should still pay me ??? otherwise Ive lost my payment and posatge and the item

I've had this a few times in the past.  Payment was received,  I sent the item out , and then received the same warning you have.

You cannot obviously stop the parcel if it's on its journey, and presumably you had notification the buyer paid.

I never had any problem later with the payment ,  it was received and stayed received.
