I have returned a faulty item but cannot update ebay with info/tracking number.

I have returned an item but ebay item still says 'take action" "return item " i cannot update it

If you used a return label supplied by either eBay or the seller you shouldn't need to enter any tracking details into the return because the system is automatic.    But contact ebay and ask them to check it for you.  You can request a callback on here:
