business account

hello all, quick question, I am looking to upgrade to a business account... if I upgrade to a business account will all my listings and feedback etc port over with me? or will I be starting from scratch? thanks all.

See here,

Go to Account settings in My eBay.
Select Personal information.
Select Edit next to Account type. You may be asked to sign in again.
Select Confirm to upgrade to a Business account.
Specify whether you operate your business as a legal entity or as a sole proprietor and select Continue.
On the following page, enter your business information such as name, contact information, and returns policy. Then select Save.

You can keep your existing listings as a private seller

As it is the same account, you do not lose feedback etc.

Existing listings would continue, but I  do not see how they could continue as private items on a Business Account.

Changing from a personal account to a business account

If you've already registered with a personal account but would like to upgrade to a business account, here's how:

1. Go to Account settings - opens in new window or tab in My eBay.
2. Select Personal information. 
3. Select Edit next to Account type. You may be asked to sign in again.
4. Select Confirm to upgrade to a Business account.
5. Specify whether you operate your business as a legal entity or as a sole proprietor and select Continue.
6. On the following page, enter your business information such as name, contact information, and returns policy. Then select Save.

   Note: Please be aware that once you've upgraded your personal account to a business account, it won't be possible to revert back to a personal account.

   If you wanted to still sell private items, you would need to open a separate account, with a different email address.

That's all I'm checking that everything from my private account ports over to business, thanks

Yes it does, however you will need to also update your returns policy if you haven't already got one. This then clears the BPF.
