Evri lost parcel

I posted an antique print to a buyer but Evri have not delivered. Tracking shows mixed messages: 24th December says delivered but 27th December says ‘due to be delivered today’ then (same day) ‘parcel damaged beyond repair’. The buyer has asked me for help as they still want the print, even damaged, but as the SENDER it seems impossible to contact Evri. I’ve tried phone (never get through to a real person), chat bot (hopeless).  Can anyone help with another way of contacting them please? This is my first time using Evri and I never will again!

Evri lost parcel

According to Google the way to get through to a real person on Evri's customer service line (0330 808 5456) is to provide a tracking number for an old completed order.   Do you know anyone who has used them recently who could provide a tracking number just to get through?

Evri lost parcel

Thank you.

Unfortunately, I’ve tried that with no luck😡. I provided the tracking number for the parcel but (I think) because one of the Evri notifications was that it was delivered on 24th December (It wasn’t) the call is automatically ended by them. Evri also say refer to sender, but as I AM the sender, that’s no help!

I’ve messaged them on Facebook so will update if I hear back.
Otherwise, any more suggestions most welcome!

Best try contacting Evri early in the morning.

I doubt Evri  will cover you for any damage to the pic/print in accordance with there What You Can & Can't Send by Courier | Evri

If you added a return address, the item may be returned to you,and you can then cancel the transaction and the buyer would be refunded.

If the buyer hasn't received the print they can report not received to ebay,or if they do receive it,they can either keep it or request a return withing 30 days of purchase.

Evri lost parcel

Thank you.
It was very well wrapped in bubble wrap, then thick brown paper and fragile tape all over it. It also had my return address on. I did take a photo of it wrapped up before I posted it, so have that as proof for Evri if necessary.
As well as wanting to know where this is - damaged or not - it’s the appalling customer service at Evri that really gets me. I will try early in the morning, but don’t hold out much hope! Fingers crossed 🤞

Thanks again
