Complicated return

I bought an item on here that arrived broken, I asked for a return that was accepted. The label I received was too small for the item (0-1kg when the item is 8.8kg) and eBay said via chat that the seller needs to provide a new one. They did this and sent the barcode via messages so I’m not sure if they purchased it via eBay or not as the old return label is still on there! Anyway I returned the item and get a notification today to say it’s being delivered to me! I don’t mean the seller refused it or can’t be delivered I mean the return label ended up saying my address somehow rather than the sellers. Can anyone advise me what to do next? It’s so frustrating

Much simpler to have opened a formal ' Not as described ' (Damaged) Return case with eBay --- without need for messages ? --- FFI see here >

You only have 30 days after delivery date given to open an official  'Item not as described' case below --- follow the instructions carefully and escalate case to eBay on day 4 for their assistance in obtaining a full refund  >

Complicated return

I did but the return label I received was for the wrong weight. The person I spoke to on chat said the items weight was listed incorrectly that’s why and to request a new label via messages from the seller

I think you may need to speak with eBay again, and explain that the second label was addressed to yourself, not the seller!
