Item not complete

I've bought an unbranded lego set back in November this was a Christmas present for my wife. This month she has been building it and found that there is a part missing this is a vital part that hold everything together. I waited until she was completely satisfied that it wasn't in any other bag and contacted the seller for a spare part. They informed me that they would offer a percentage of refund I wanted to know what monetary value  this would be. The seller asked what i wanted. This went on for a couple of days back and forth with me saying that they should tell me what they were given me. When this item arrived I had issue collecting that resulted with me in a shop for 30mins as I didn't receive a qr code. So I said what would you say if I said all of it. Long story short I'm now getting that it's passed the window for refund or anything due ton30 day policy. My thoughts are it's not complete. Can someone help im getting no where fast.

You are too late to claim any refund with eBay as they have a 30 day MBG Money back Guarantee policy.

Whilst I understand it was bought weeks before, for a Xmas present so couldn't be built and  checked , you are still out of time with eBay.

You could try your payment provider see if they can help.
