Selling a item

I've just listed a bicycle for sale and eBay are saying it's prohibited as it has a battery, however it's not an e bike and I haven't said anywhere that it is , I've sold over 100 items I have perfect feedback, I can't edit or even delete the ad or contact eBay

This must have been a bot operated vision / response.

Listing a bike will not get it removed.

Somewhere in your description you must have indicated  batter powered, and that triggered the response that you cannot list your item.

I wouldn't try and relist it on eBay, but try another platform for this item.

Six members have now complained of exactly this - the listings are clearly being rejected by AI or a human who doesn't understand the difference between a bike and an e-bike.

I have never seen a post about this issue before, but 6 in two days suggests the fault lies firmly with Ebay and not with people trying very hard to sell on the site!

As mentioned on the other thread I am raising this with our policy team to review the examples being brought to the community boards. In the meantime @slaye_7032  if you have an appeal option on the email notification please go through that. If there is no appeal option then please contact customer support to have them review the listing details.
