Global shipping programme

I have only ever sold in the UK but would appreciate other folks' views on Global Shipping Program - is it as simple as described?  Hoping to sell vintage t-shirts and merchandise which seem to sell better overseas.  Thank you.

In my experience of using GSP for a short while, it's expensive and slow and offers very little protection against buyers who open 'not as described' cases.

I do sell overseas - I sent a brooch to Australia today - but I simply list items with a price for Royal Mail International Tracked.  Then I buy postage using RM Click and Drop and print the label and customs label from the RM site.

By the very nature of GSP it is going to be expensive, buyer has to pay two lots of postage for a start, plus days lost in posting to the GSP hub, and service of GSP is not free.

Potential for expensive returns is also a risk for you.
