Postage query on 2 items to same buyer

Hi there. 
I’ve just sold 2 items to one buyer. Buyer happy to pay 2 x postage (I did offer to refund one of them). I’ve packed the parcel up, printed off the postage labels but I’m now thinking that I won’t get the funds for one as used only 1 postage label. 
Other than taking apart and sending both items separately, is there a way round this?

The only reason why it is not a good idea sending as one package, is that you will only have tracked proof of delivery for one item, so a dishonest buyer could claim a refund.

Ebay does not believe in making things easy and buyer sill be caught for two buying fees.

Long winded way round, is to cancel and refund both sales with agreement of buyer, and relist as one item for buyer to buy again.
