I just sold some bottles of rubbing alcohol , though I was aware that normally they cannot be posted by the majority of the courier companies.
I still listed them coz:
I bought them from Amazon, and they were posted to me via Evri.
eBay's CS told me that should be OK to post via SD, which is via either RM or Evri.
However, after looking into both couriers' guidelines, it turns out that this type of products can't be accepted. I've contacted eBay's CS for several times, and I was told differently each time.
I have these queries:
1. Since eBay allows me to list such type of a product, will it be OK to just post them?
2. Is there any other way to post them?
3. I wanted to cancel and refund this order, however, I wouldn't want to increase my defect rate by doing it from my end. The buyer didn't want an uncompleted record, and he refused to request for the refund.
eBay has clearly acknowledged that it's neither me nor the buyer's problem, and yet they can't offer a resolution to this. Any advices?
