Sellers refusing to send to my address

I live on Jersey and have a bonafide post code. I have won several items and attempted to pay immediately upon winning but eBay doesn’t allow me to but recommends that I ask for a postage quote, if the seller doesn’t want to send the item I get an unpaid item reprimand from eBay which also makes me look like a bad customer which is totally unfair. I have been asked by eBay to agree to them paying from my account anything that I’m deemed not to have paid for which I believe is outrageous as I wanted the item but seller refused to send. It appears impossible to contact eBay for advice, has anyone similar experience?

Sellers refusing to send to my address

There is a problem with Simple Delivery and the Channel Islands.  It's  to do with Evri because they charge more for the CIs, whereas Royal Mail charge the same as UK postage.

The best thing for the seller to do is cancel the transaction with your agreement and relist after removing Evri from their postage preferences.    But of course they need to communicate with you and agree to do that.

The problem with private sellers having to use simple delivery is often posted with Evri.

Ask seller to cancel and relist opting out of Evri and use RM instead.

They can post for same cost as  mainland UK.
