Policy Restriction Removes Spoons

I was wondering whether anyone else has had spoons/forks removed for being a restricted item?

I cannot quite explain just how bizarre this is.

Happens frequently --- Despite much ongoing discussion, argument and appeals, the Knife policy restriction still appears for buying any item considered to have a sharp edge. point or a cutting blade (including scissors, hedge clippers, lawnmower blades, handsaws etc.) ---

Currently only a ( monthly payment ) Credit Card entry to confirm buyer age is acceptable to eBay --- nothing else will do !! --- an everyday use Debit Card will not be accepted.
