I ordered a hat for £200 with confidence because I saw its authentication had been verified by ebay itself, nevertheless after buying the item I went to check the sellers profile and to my surprise he had 0 ratings 0past items sold and 0reviews this immediately gained my attention and made me believe that i was getting scammed. I then contacted the seller to cancel the order and I was completely ignored. It has been 10 days since I initially ordered the beanie and the buyer still has not shipped it because tracking is unavailable. I want my money back thank you.

Having a 0 feedback certainly doesn't mean this is a ' scam seller', we all started with a 0 feedback, you have a 0 feedback score!
Many new sellers start at this time of year to generate needed Christmas monies.
Postage is at a snails pace because of the extra load of Christmas post that has to be dealt with, several of mine arrived, but late.
What was your item's last date for delivery? Taking in that that date is not a confirmed date, and as above with Xmas there are only to be expected delays. Your money is safe, but if a reasonable time passes that date proceed this way:
If the seller is not being helpful, go right of the item purchased, and from More Actions select.... I Have Not Received My Item.
If you are not fully refunded within 3 days, you must escalate the case on day 4 or within 30 days from opening the case, and eBay will step in and force the refund.
Do not close the case early for any excuse or promise the seller may give, and do not forget to escalate.

Open a "not received" case via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your pùrchases list.

I do not understand, authentication is after you have bought and seller sends to authentication, who send on to you. Give item number, as this sounds wrong to me, ebay does not authenticate listed items.
