How to enter a custom sku

Hi , I’ve been selling on eBay for a while now and never had a problem entering a custom SKU in my item specifications, but now there is a new eBay layout that takes you step by step through the eBay listings , and there isn’t any way I can put in a custom SKU , any way I can go back to the old lay out , please help

Are you using Simple Delivery?

From April 15th 2025, you do not need to add a SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) when listing items on eBay Simple Delivery. Simple Delivery is a mandatory shipping option for eligible private sellers on eBay UK. eBay will automatically handle the shipping process, including assigning a courier and generating a pre-paid label. This means you don't need to manually choose a courier or set up shipping. 

 

In essence, you no longer need to add an SKU because eBay's Simple Delivery system handles the entire shipping process, including assigning a courier and generating a pre-paid label.
