Hi I bought a battery and as it did not fit iwas offered an exchange.
I sent the battery back 2 weeks ago as arranged and agreed .
Still no replacement battery sent as

If you started a return request you can escalate it to ebay. Go to the return case, click on Case Details > Respond to Case > Escalate This Case > Submit.

It is always unwise to deal with the seller [as I infer]. The correct method if the wrong item is sent is immediately to open a "not as described" case with eBay and seller sends a label to send it back and then refunds your money.
You then buy another [correct] if you trust the seller.
I know it does not sound like "common sense" ... @wolfmanjack777

My e.mails to seller via ebay are not being sent WHY THEY

Not sure why your messages are not being sent, but it can be glitchy especially if using the app or mobile browser, have you tried from a laptop / PC and with Chrome, no issues there currently !
However, np need to message the seller, nothing in a message can enforce any action, if not opened already, open that return case, enter the tracking number of the item sent back, and with the time that has passed you should see the option to escalate now, to ask eBay to step in and they'll force a refund.
