No. It's safer for you to cancel/refund the transaction with buyer's agreement (via the dropdown menu for the item on your orders page) and relist as collection only for the buyer to buy again. Then the buyer will receive a collection code to give to you when they come which will prove you've handed over the item.

The alternative would be to open the postage label which will mark the item as dispatched. But that will not prove the buyer has received the item and in theory they could claim the money back later from ebay.
