I booked a collection from home by Royal Mail for my parcel as I always do when I sell something. Then I realised my parcel was clearly a small parcel, not the large letter specified by the Simple Delivery label. And since I also noticed Ebay have recently added the ability to increase parcel size after the sale I figured I ought to do that, being a good citizen and all. So I increased the parcel size... after I'd booked the collection. Well.... it seems doing that messed up the collection as I didn't receive an email confirmation for the collection in the way I usually do. I checked with Ebay, who confirmed the parcel was scheduled for drop off, not collection... And I can't do a drop off. So I went to the Royal Mail website to book a collection manually as I used to do back before Ebay integrated collection into their system. But right now the Royal Mail website is not working!! So I can't book a collection through them either! I'm hoping this is just temporary and it will be back soon. If not, I don't know what I'll do, lol. 😅
Seriously though, why did I go and change that parcel size? 😅 I knew that was a mistake as everything new always goes wrong. I guess I'm being a guinea pig here in finding a glitch in the new system. So be careful out there guys!! 😅
