Hi
I have been asked by ebay to verify my account. As i am a new seller , i have £210 for an item i recently sold
I have no driving license or passport
I provided them with my YOTI citzen card at first. Now this id card has the pass logo on it, is govermental approved by police and home office. Allows me on to all domestic flights etc. I then got an email that says, we don not accept this. So i called ebay and was then told they would ask their specialized team what else they would accept. But rather than wait, i read on forums that birth certifactes, letters from dwp or hmrc work just as well. So i sent these along once again with the photo id citzen card. . Is this correct? and ebay should verify now? Thanks

I cannot be sure aside from passports and driving license, which forms of ID eBay accept, so you will need to ask Customer Services if the items you're suggesting are acceptable.
I strongly recommend contacting CS very first thing, when the lines first open for ' live agents' on a weekday at 8 a.m. as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays
9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.
Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.
I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

I gave no futher photo id, other than the citizen card provided previously.
Hope this helps someone in the future, Who may have the same issues.
