hi, I have sold an item and used simple delivery. The buyer has paid £2.94 postagebut selected a more expensive option at £4.06 despite paying the smaller amount. It appears they hit the wrong option. Is it possible to change the label to the correct £2.94 option that they paid for? Thanks

With SD the buyer pays the cost of postage direct to ebay and they produce a pre-paid label for you to use - unless you use free postage in which case you pay the postage. If it's the latter you would have to cancel/refund the transaction and relist for the buyer to buy and pay again.
Discuss with buyer first then click on the dropdown menu arrow alongside the item on your orders page and select Cancel order > Buyer asked to cancel.

This is eBay's answer to this:
If a seller on eBay UK's Simple Delivery service selects a higher postage cost than initially listed, the buyer will be charged the higher amount, and the seller will be liable for any additional costs. However, if the buyer chooses a more expensive express delivery option, they'll be responsible for the full cost, and the seller won't be charged.

That is something we don't know and I don't understand if the buyer has paid £2.94, which will be a standard Evri service how its then defaulted to a more expensive option, unless its the postcode shenanigans of the item going to one of the premium codes, but the price you have quoted doesn't seem to be enough if you will. If it is a premium postcode location then simple delivery should allow for this.
