Hi,
I have been selling on eBay for around 7 months now.
I was suddenly hit with an MC011, I think it was because 4-5 orders were over due from the dispatch date.
I sell as a Business. EBay have asked me upload information for verification which I can provide no problem. The only issue I am having is, they are asking for invoices or receipts from manufacturers of where I buy my items from to sell on eBay. However I run a waste management company that deal mainly In IT Equipment. So all of the items I have sold on eBay were meant to be heading to landfill, but we give them a new lease of life by repairing and cleaning them. Laptops mainly, but there are hard drives which we completely wipe of current data and everything is tested
I have replied to the email explaining the above and I am waiting on a response.
I just wonder has anyone else been In this same situation? And what the outcome is likely to be? They have approx 8K held on my account which I can’t access. With me no being be able to list it has interrupted my business massively.

“they are asking for invoices or receipts from manufacturers of where I buy my items from to sell on eBay”
A strong possibility is that all this is because you are trading on a private account, yet you say - “I sell as a Business.”

Ah right, no I definitely sell as a business. When I set up the account, I thought this was the option I selected. I pay approx £30 per month. I was to design my shop front etc.
how do I update this?

You can change account type here https://accountsettings.ebay.co.uk/profile
You will have to pay for listings and have seller fees to pay as a business seller which can be found here Fees for business sellers | eBay

You opened a shop, that is not the same thing as operating on a business account.
