Incomplete Lego set

I bought a used Lego set just before Xmas for my daughter. Seller advised all pieces were included. On arrival the box was badly damaged (not in advert) and I could not easily see the mini figures or boats. I contacted the seller who

assured me everything was there. No way I could give to daughter for Xmas so decided to try and sort through all the pieces and bag up correctly and give for her birthday. It's taken hours/days and there are over 300 pieces missing. How do I complain to eBay as the advert was well and truly misleading and given it's a huge Lego set 300 missing pieces is extreme?

You cannot complain to eBay as too much time has passed to claim a full refund as you did receive an item not as described.

eBay have a 30 day MBG Money Back Guarantee policy, this is written on the right hand side of every listing.  It explains if you receive an item not as described you have to send it back,  at the seller's expense for a full refund.

That timeframe has passed, you could try your payment provider now for help with a refund.

Familiarise yourself with eBay's 30 day MBG link below,  it can save you a lot of money in the future.
