Auction Reserve Price Query

If my maximum bid exceeds a reserve price, do I pay my maximum bid, or do I pay the equivalent of the reserve price if there  are no other competing bids over that reserve price? Thank you.

You pay the reserve price.   It won't go higher if there are no other higher bids.
