Tracking

I recently sold an item and entered the tracking details. If I look at the order details the tracking number is shown as a hyper link, and if I follow that the courier shows the items tracking including that it has been delivered (with a photo as evidence), however eBay is not recognising the tracking information and implies that the item has not even been despatched much less delivered, in consequence my money is on hold. I have tried to email eBay but none of the email links under customer service seem to be working and the automated help is of no use. Does anyone have any suggestions?

eBay's tracking is notoriously slow to update, unless you have a case for item not received I wouldn't worry too much it will update eventually.

If not you have the tracking to show delivery this your proof to enter , for any chance a case for INR is received.

There is a disconnect between eBay and tracking at the moment.   eBay are aware and trying to fix it.   As a new seller the money will probably be on hold anyway for up to 30 days but you will get it in the end.

Many thanks for the swift reply. I've been selling for the past 10 years, though not recently, and was just really frustrated when I found that it now seems impossible to contact a customer service agent directly!!

If you need to at anytime  in the future,  you can contact an eBay Customer Service agent this way:

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

 https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

When you have a break in selling ebay will classify you as new.   You can contact ebay if you like using callback on here:
