Ebay forums moderation

Hi All,

Does anyone know to whom and where a formal complaint can be made regarding a moderator and moderation in the forums.

Many Thanks

You could try complaining to eBay or to Khoros who run the boards for eBay.

Ebay forums moderation

Moderation and actions of moderators cannot be discussed as per forum rules.

Thanks for replying.

I didn't want to create a discussion, I just wondered if anyone knew where and to who a formal complaint could be made to.

Before you try to make a complaint, have you read all the rules regarding posting on the community boards?

Maybe start here:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/member-behaviour-policies/boards-usage-policy?id=4705

I picked out a couple of paragraphs which may be especially worth reading:

  • Repetitive, disruptive, or inappropriate threads or posts. Members should only post one thread per topic on the most relevant board for the issue or question. Topics or posts that are inappropriate or disruptive serve no value to the community and may be removed without notice. This can include if the original post is in relation to a general question and users reply with accusations or replies that are unrelated to the original thread
  • Stay on topic. The eBay community is a place to discuss all things eBay. As public chat, help and discussion boards are part of the eBay community, discussions on these forums should be eBay related. Make sure that every thread you create is related to eBay. The general course of conversation should be on topic and relevant to the original post on the thread.

And, Ebay do state, 'We may limit the amount of community content you post'

I have been on here for 20 years.

I have taken screenshots to support my complaint and just wanted to know where and to who a formal complaint could be made to.

That's all.
