I recently purchased a blender, i then received a message from eBay stating the product is not safe, I contacted the seller and they initially said eBay send emails out like that but that I could still use the product, I reminded them regarding the safety issue and he offered me £3 back, i once again reminded him and he offered me £5 back, to be fair I thought maybe it would be fine and used it one more time, the blooming thing started smoking! So clearly an issue, I contacted the seller to request a full refund as it is faulty and now the seller is giving me radio silence! HELP

It's important to know Exactly when you purchased this item, and not ' just recently'.
If it's within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery you can open a return case for a full refund citing item not as described.
If this period has lapsed, you'll need to turn either to your payment provider for a refund, or to the manufacturer of the item, as to how to proceed here.

eBay won't get involved after 30 days.
Is your seller a UK registered business seller? If so, they come under Trading Standards juristiction and you should let the seller know that you'll be taking this up with TS.
If you paid with a debit or credit card you can easily issue a not as described chargeback via your card provider (you have 120 days to do this). This will get you a full refund.

eBay will not do anything if there 30 day timeframe has lapsed.
Your best bet for any action is to contact the actual manufacturer, report this and give them all of the above details.
