Can not think of any other business that won’t refund you for a service they didn’t provide, you cant combine postage and you cant change the service to cover an extra item. if you sell 2 items that you did simple delivery you have to send separately??  eBay don’t you think this is a little poor service for your sellers.

Easiest way to avoid SD is to upgrade to business seller. 

You choose and can combine postage.

If you open a Simple Delivery label but do not use it,  the payer of that label is refunded,  this is how it works:

• If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days

• If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.  Also ensure you add the replacement tracking number of the service used, and it shows delivery.
