Relistings

As from 1st October the 1000 relisting it being slashed to 300 surely this is a backward step for eBay with loss of money to the company with less sales from their sellers. We have on average 400 items so with the 1000 relistings we get two bites of the cherry for sales with 2 relistings in the month. Now with the new 300 only relistings we will have nothing on for 20 days.  For the 20 days @35 pence would be £280 😞 I honestly cannot see what eBay will be gaining slashing relistings to only 300.

It's only going to impact you if you continue listing everything as auctions, as these have a much shorter duration than fixed price listings. The obvious way round this is to switch to fixed price. You'll be able to create 300 new listings each month. Once they're listed they run for a month then automatically renew for free each month without counting towards that month's 300 allowance.

AS said elsewhere most of the complaints regarding this come from business sellers trading as private sellers.

looking at your listings you are a business seller trading as a private seller in violation of eBay rules and the law.

You are totally wrong I am a private seller selling items we have purchased over the 50 years of marriage and your assumption is incorrect that I am a business seller and there is no violation of ebay and you need to get your facts right before accusing.

If items have been purchased over 50 years how come you are selling so many NEW items?

If you are suposed to be a pro mentor god help anyone else who needs help. You should stick to your stamp and postcard collecting because all you are on here is a trouble maker. By the way there is nothing NEW on our listings just vintage items which have never been opened.
