I sold an item and it was set up with the new simply delivery. The buyer paid £2.94 with Evri but when I go to purchase the label it’s telling me the cost is £5.96. The dimensions and weight are all the same. The postage is more than what I sold the item for!
You need to opt out of "Simple delivery", then the buyer has to stick to your choice of postage. During the listing process look for the options menu icon on the right of the postage section.
Sounds like your buyer is in one of evri’s premium areas eg the highlands or Northern Ireland etc. hence the premium. If eBay’s simple delivery was sensible it would have selected Royal Mail for you which would have been cheaper….
