Didn't use QR code to post

I recently sold an item and was unsure how to post it. I got some help from a relative who used to sell on eBay but hasn't done for a while. They said they would take care of it and post it for me. So I sent them the prepaid QR code. They however just wrote the address on the package and sent it. It has now been delivered and I have received positive feedback from the buyer. My issue is, eBay doesn't know it has been delivered due to the tracking assigned to the QR code. Will I still receive the funds? and if not how do I make sure I do?
