Is the live chat with agents down for everyone also ??
I was communicating with someone yesterday morning raising a complaint & return request.. then as I was responding “ failed “ kept popping up.
I do not have the mental energy/ capacity to discuss via telephone call as I’m physically unwell with pain.
That is the only option being offered.
I tried the option to email but have still not had a response.
I cannot communicate with the seller regarding the returns method & label as I have had to report them twice.
Is it a temporary tech glitch or has it been removed ???
(I have updated app, logged in & out of account and tried website version as well.)

The automated assistant is supposed to pass you through to a real person. Try requesting that via the contact link at the bottom of this:

I believe it is only a Call Back option now for Customer Services. eBay do not reply to emails.
What is the difficulty with the return label is it not printing or has one been issued for the wrong amount needed for the return?
If the latter is the case, and this is a return for item not as described, you will need to contact eBay Customer Services, and they'll provide the correct label you need, and charge it to the seller's account.
This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.
9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open, as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
