Postage for bladed items

Hi, I sell tools such as jigsaws, saws, chainsaws. With the new blade law ebay won't let me list these items without ID verification postage, and the collection in person choice removed. Please could someone help me with a dummies guide to doing this as I have tried on my phone and laptop with no success. Thanks in advance.
