Listing not showing as click and collect

Hi there,

My listing is not showing as click and collect and I can't find any options in settings to allow this.

My listing fits all the requirements to enable click and collect but it just won't appear as an option.

I only have one listing at the moment.

I have checked my listing in relation to similar products and I cannot see any differences between our listings.

One thing, there is £45/kg on your listing, not sure why it is there but is ebay taking that as 45kg which would make it too heavy.

Listing not showing as click and collect

Hi John,

Thanks, I can't seem to get rid of that either. I think it's saying it's £45 per kg.

It's so strange. I think I might have to delete the listing and try again.

That would definitely be the reason for C & C  not being applied to your listing.

I can't get rid of it though. Please note it's £45 per kg, not 45kg.

I have tried to list it again and the exact same £45/kg label showed up again. It's totally out of my control.

Where are you purchasing the postage label from?  How heavy is this item?

To be honest I've never used a Yodel Store to Door option but if you select a Royal Mail option,  you do not have to buy postage from eBay,   select RM for the correct weight and measurement for your item,  list it with that information and perhaps then,  Click & Collect option will be available.

Also,  eBay will automatically offer Click & Collect on your listings if:

Your item is over £5

You're offering a quick dispatch time (0-3 days is ideal)

Your item weighs no more than 15kg (including packaging) and no one side of the parcel exceeds 90cm, with max dimensions of 0.324 cubic metres. (Any items that are too large or exceed the weight limit will be rejected on arrival at the Click & Collect location and may be disposed of, without reimbursement)

Your item isn't classified as dangerous or age-restricted

Please see the guidance here:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/posting-items/setting-postage-options/click-collect?id=4180&st=1...

Even if it has been applied to your listing it may not be available to your buyer, it depends where they live and if there's a Click & Collect store local to them.

Listing not showing as click and collect

The item is less than 1kg and will fit in a shoebox.

I originally chose Yodel after already trying Royal Mail and no option of click and collect. I have switched it back to Royal Mail with no success.

My listing fits all requirements but eBay still won't give me the click and collect option. I have logged out of my account and searched my listing and I can see click and collect for people selling the same item but not for my own listing. It's really frustrating as someone wants to buy my item but only with click and collect.

If it fits all the citeria and the option is still not available even when selecting Royal Mail,  then all I can suggest is contacting eBay Customer Services,  perhaps they can see where the issue lies and to be able to add this C & C option for you,  if all T & C's are seen to comply.

Contact them now,  their lines are open,  and there's more chance of Dublin answering.

If you do get an answer,  please do come back and tell us,  as it may help us to help others facing the same problem,  thank you.

This is the easiest and quicket way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

 https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

As said,  I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
