Free postage (setting it)

Hi all,  Hopefully a quick solution, How do I set up FREE POSTAGE for sending an item. I have sold on eBay for ages using my own postage (stamps that is) but that option seems to have disappeared with eBay just offering automated none sensical answers to queries now. Thanks for any replies/solutions.

Select Postage box.

Add primary service, then  select the service you want to use, and save.

Then you will see the little box to tick for Free Postage.

When on the listing page you can offer free postage by ticking the Free for buyer box, so you pay for delivery. Learn more on the benefits of offering your buyers Free delivery.

Thanks for your reply plum933 Perhaps I'm wrong but I tried that & it seems that eBay then charge me at a higher rate than the current postal rate?

With the latest “improvement” you have to click to go to ADVANCED POSTAGE OPTIONS. That allows you to do whatever you want.

In ebay language “advanced” usually means better and anything is better than simple postage.

Thanks  john129756 I went into the advanced settings but still could not find anywhere to "set" for free postage. All my other items on eBay are free postage, haven't listed items for a while until today.
