Abuse of the Vero Programme

We have a rights owner saying we cant sell there goods on eBay because we dont have permission.

However, there are using the vero programme illegally by saying the goods are countefeit, which they are not.  They have admitted to me via email that they supplied the goods to a clearance house, presumably to help with a cashflow issue.  This clearance house sold them to us 2 years ago.  Its only now that they have decided to sell on ebay that they are removing all their products from other sellers.

In my opinion this is against Uk competion laws and eBays terms. I've tried appealing and showing the email from the rights owner basically admitting the goods are not counterfeit. They have stated that they were sold to the clearance house and told them they cant be sold online.

Never had a issue like this in over 21 years selling on eBay.

When items are removed through VERO, the reason given is usually counterfeit, no doubt that is what is programmed into the bot.

Well they are 100% not counterfeit.  Not sure ebay want to enforce there vero programme and are quite happy for sellers to abuse the rules
