Parcel Shop collection issues

Anybody having issues with parcel collection from shops. It might just be my local shops, but on EVRI deliveries the shops keep asking me for a barcode, which I do not have before handing over parcel. The evri website says its just ID. I contacted ebay and they said "we'll look into it" which basically means go away.

Anybody with similar issues?

What happens if the staff at the shop don't understand that for EVRI parcels, I only need my ID. They are wanting a barcode.

If it was ebay parcel, you have to supply collection code.

Its not being accepted. The shop wants a 'BARCODE'. They wont accept anything other than a 'BARCODE' for them to scan. Ive shown them the delivery email, the listing.. they want a 'BARCODE'.

This is from link i supplied.

"If you're collecting from an eBay Collection Point, the seller will post your item to your chosen location. Allow up to 5 business days for delivery. You'll get an email or text when your item has arrived. This will include a collection code which you'll need to bring with you when you collect your item."

If you haven't received collection code from ebay (nothing to do with seller), then you need to contact ebay CS.

Have you checked all messages & emails, especially spam.

Click "ebay help" top right of page, but not easy to speak to agent at the moment.

I have a code as such, an evri delivery code (H number) code. 

HOWEVER

The shop wants a BARCODE to scan. 

They wont accept my code

They wont accept my ID

I have contacted ebay, but the customer services person has RESOLVED the case by sending me an email stating its RESOLVED, without reading my issue. No resolution has occurred and I cant collect my parcel.

If ebay CS say it is resolved, nothing more I can do.

The 'H' code is  probably the Evri tracking code. A collection code is usually a 6 digit number and  QR code with the numbers below it, if you have checked your email inbox and spam folder and it is also not shown in your order details eBay CS can and should give you this 6 digit number for collection. Contact them again and ask for the collection code to be resent.

there is no code, evri and ebay have not presented any form of collection code, despite me raising support tickets with both. "I just need to take my ID"

there is no email with such a code on. I have asked for this now mythical code with no such luck.

There are now 2 parcels at the same shop sitting there, and I cant get to them.

"Please note as these items are Evri Collection, eBay does not provide collection codes. For these orders, staff at One Stop will release these items to you upon supply of photo ID. "

This was the email i got today from Ebay.. although one stop clearly do not know this.

If it was NOT an ebay click & collect item, then it is between you & Evri shop.
