Evri the scourge of ebay.

There was a time when most of my purchases arrived via Royal Mail and usually within 2-3 days.

Now most of my purchases come via Evri and take about a week.

This means if I am short of something I have to order further in advance so I dont run out.

This is a nuisance.

Maybe it's down to sellers not sending out quickly?
I ordered something (not ebay) Thursday afternoon, free standard delivery by Evri. it was here Friday afternoon.
I find most of the things I send via Evri are delivered quickly - Royal Mail now, that's a different story (they also managed not to deliver my Mothers' Day card yet, either :()

This really depends on the seller, as they are the ones that set up the dispatching times, couriers and services. When purchasing an item, depending on each seller, you will see some that offer Evri only, Royal Mail only, both with different services, etc. I would recommend checking their shipping options before purchasing the items, so you can pick the one of your preference, and you can even contact them in case you have any questions.
