Another simple postage query

I'm pretty confused with all this simple delivery malarkey. 

I sent an item earlier today and i opted for the simple delivery just to see how it all worked. Now i have no problem with Evri really and i have used them many times with no issues.

Anyway, i came home and was in the process of listing another item but the only options that came up weight wise were up to 2KG then it jumped to up to 15KG which had a red banner saying "ebay recommends" at a cost of £7 odds to my buyer

What happened to the services in between those weights ? There used to be an up to 5KG (well on Evris website anyway i think) and seeing as my parcel weighs 2.8 KG it just seems ludicrous to have a big jump like that.

Anyway, just looking for some clarity really .... THANKS.

This doesn’t make sense if you have royal mail as your preferred special delivery option

which you can do with SD

either eBay are still working  or “tinkering’ with the system or don’t know what they’re doing or it’s rubbish

because Royal Mail charge less for up to 5kg than up to 15

some cocuriers dint care about the weight and it’s a flat fee 2 to 15 

who knows

Don't worry @edwardian-dreams about not being much help. I think i just wanted to have a bit of a rant.

Hopefully it will iron itself out because i don't sell much anyway but SD is not so simple, maybe the people who designed it are simple 😉

I use both Evri and Royal Mail but usually just do it on their sites rather than through ebay because for RM collection from home you can't choose the "bring my label" option from within ebay .
