An item I sold got returned back to me by the courier (EVRI) so I contacted eBay to find out if there is a way to get a new delivery label and they said no but I could pay the postage myself and then claim the cost of the
postage label through eBay. I was dubious so on receiving the item back I queried it again with eBay and this time they said I could not claim the cost of the postage and the only option was to cancel the order and re-list the item. Alternatively I could pay for the postage myself as there is no way in Simple Delivery to generate a new label in this circumstance.
I know that it is not that often that a parcel gets returned by the courier but from now on with Simple Delivery if that happens eBay basically confirmed that there is nothing else to do except either cancel the order or pay the postage cost yourself! PLEASE eBay.... sort this out! Has anyone else had this issue? There must be an easier way to re-send an item when this happens??????
