Purchased an item of clothing for £123, excluding £11 delivery fee. Yet being charged VAT. Postage is Lithuania to UK. From what I am aware VAT is applicable over 135, of which the item is not. Please help

VAT is applicable on purchases from outside UK.

Below £135 it is collected on payment, over £135 it's charged and usually collected prior to delivery plus the carriers clearance fee.

Duty applies over £135, there is no lower limit for VAT.
