I have sold a item the buyer wishes to use their own courier how do I accept this or confirm this using the app upon collection

by allowing this type of collection do I forfeit all of my seller rights

It is the buyer who loses their rights, collection in person is ok but using a courier to collect invalidates the money back guarantee.

Also you must not hand over until you have been given the code received by buyer. That is only way to prove delivered, as while buyer loses their protection, you would have to make sure ebay were aware that buyer did not collect in person if they opened a return case.
