Simple Delivery - what is a low priced item?

I currently sell my large stamp collection and football programmes so majority of my items are low value that I currently sell for £1.99 including postage (and post second class Royal Mail for 85p).   With 'simple' delivery being forced upon us from 15 April this appears to be I will have to charge an additional £2.84 for postage which is the royal mail tracked.   This means no one will buy my items.

I note however on the email that it says 'There’ll be a few exceptions, such as low-priced, bulky items, and local pick-up, which aren’t eligible for Simple Delivery'.    Does anyone know what 'low-priced' items means as eBay do not seem to quantify this anywhere?

Hi @gooner100fan ,

Thank you for your post.

To confirm Simple delivery will be optional for items that are priced £10 or under and lightweight( 100g or under) so if your items are in this range then you should be able to continue with your own postage.

Thank you,

Kat
