NOS new old stock - not really

i did have a little look to see if there was a previous thread.

has anyone encountered this? , im seeing soo many items now being described as NOS and they are soooooo clearly NOT!

just because an item in back in its original box simply does not mean that it was never used! i mean its ridiculous, i have fallen for a couple of items recently described as 'never opened' 'never used', only to find obvious marks and signs that the item was so obviously used, but someone kept it in the original box, or returned it there to save or sell.

this seems to have escalated somehow, why is this.................................

You have sort of asked a question - but one which only sellers listing their items as 'new old stock' could really answer and only mentors can respond in here.

You might get more responses in one of the discussion forums, 'selling' or 'buying'.

Remember, if you do buy such an item and it is clearly used and not new, you can open a return and send the item back at the seller's expense.
