ebay is never very clear about cause of problems but I see you're a new seller on this account. Make sure you are fully set up to sell. Details here:

Hi there and thank you kindly for responding to my post.
I actually worked out how to get a live agent via the chat option yesterday so the agent has passed my details on to the relevant team for them to take a look and get back to me. He said it could take 48 to 72 hours for a reply and that I can try and list my item again after 24 hours (which will be about an hour from now).
I wonder if it is indeed to do with not registering as a seller? I have sold items before in the past years ago and I've never had any issues listing items before? Maybe it might have changed since then?
Either way, I appreciate your response/link and I will certainly check that out further should it prove to be the reason why I can't post my listing. I'll try to remember to come back here and post what the issue was etc, just in case anyone else should read this post who might be having the same issue.
Thanks again and have a good week 😎

I've just FINALLY got the issue sorted out, thanks to a very diligent customer service agent named Noma (not sure how it's spelt?). I just got off the phone with her and long story short, I went into the 'Seller hub' version of my listing, then I had to switch to 'Advanced Setting' instead of 'Simple Listing' when setting up my listing. Basically, the reason I could not get past that 'Domestic Postage Cost' error, is because you don't have the option to add IN a postage cost(s) in 'Simple Listing' option. Once you click on 'Advanced' option, you then get the fields to fill out for desired courier(s), as well as inputting the postage costs. For my listing, it worked out roughly £10.80 with Royal Mail and about £9.20 with Evri. That was pretty much the culprit for why I couldn't originally list my item. Once I'd done that, I just clicked to list it and voila, all good to go 👌
Thanks again for your suggestion regardless. I actually ended up filling out some fields in the 'Seller' category, just before I called through, as I thought maybe there was some more info needed from me (I included my bank details etc)? Turns out it wasn't that, but it doesn't hurt to have that on now anyway, just in case for future reference.
Peace out and have a good weekend 😎

Bank details are essential, there have been big changes probably since you last sold, money no longer goes to paypal, buyers can use it to pay, but everything passes through ebay.
Once paid and money released you have to withdraw to selected bank account. If not withdrawn, ebay automatically pay out quarterly.

Ok, thanks for the heads up there, John 👍
